They called this car the Stelvio. The Col de Stelvio on the Italian / Swiss border is one of the most known and most visually European mountain roads. The cabin certainly contributes to this. Simple, clean, bordering sterile, there is a distinct lack of buttons and violin switches. Overall, the Stelvio was able to capture most of Alfa’s driving pleasure. The package may not be the preference of each Alfista, but it retains enough flair to be attractive. More importantly, if the Stelvio and Giulia can make on enough alleys, Alfa Romeo could come back on the types of cars we all want to see. And for this reason alone, this car should be welcomed with open arms. The fact that it is also a good ride that is nice to watch is just a bonus.

This is where the Alfa Romeo Stelvio becomes really interesting. The basic model and Ti share a 2.0-liter direct-injection four-cylinder cylinder with an aluminum block and head. A dual-stage turbocharger and an intercooler help generate 280 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 306 lb-ft of torque from 2250 to 4500. It’s faster than a Chevrolet Camaro SS or a Ford Mustang GT, but a 14 mph grieving slower than the Giulia Quadrifoglio.
Price and Release Date
Lfa does not yet talk about launch dates or prices, but we think it will take about $ 50,000 for a Stelvio base and in the $ 70,000 high for a Quadrifoglio, with sales to start this fall.
