Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) takes its SRT performance line in a new and exciting direction at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. Jeep has offered a Grand Cherokee SRT hot-rod SUV for several years, but it has never been an SRT version of the Dodge Durango tied. Now, after months of hints and rumors, Dodge finally unveiled one. The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT is the family hauler of hell.
2018 Dodge Durango Exterior
The aggressive style of the Dodge Durango SRT is highlighted by a broad body position, a new hood with functional cold air duct and heat extractors that cool the engine, SRT-inspired pattern mesh On grid, New wheel rockets and body color side rocker panels. The “392” badge and the five-spoke 20-inch wheels with a Black Noise finish also give the SUV a distinct look. At the back, the lower fascia is in SRT body color with a shiny black accent and surrounds the new 4-inch Double Chrome Nickel Exhaust Tips.
2018 Dodge Durango Inside
Inside, the cabin features a hand-wrapped leather instrument panel with carbon fiber accents and silver accented stitching, a suede liner and a Nappa leather lining with silver-plated SRT logos. Standard features include the SRT flat-bed performance steering wheel, SRT shift paddles and velvet floor mats with the SRT logo. The front seats get the heating and ventilation while the second-row captain chairs get the heating function. 2018 Dodge Durango features a 7-inch digital gauge cluster with a new 180-mph speedometer; An 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and HD radio; And the sound system BeatsAudio premium.

Safety features include front crash warning with crash mitigation, adaptive cruise control with shutdown, blind-point monitoring and rear cross path detection.
2018 Dodge Durango Engine
Below, the Durango and the slightly shorter Jeep Grand Cherokee are almost identical. So it is not a big surprise that the well received Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT spawned a three-row brother. Both share the same 475-horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque engine 6.4-liter V-8 and all-wheel drive system set aggressively. Needless to say this is a sharp increase on the 360 ponies cranked by the non-SRT Durango optional 5.7-liter V-8 engine.
Price and Release Date
Dodge sold more than 68,000 Durango SUVs in 2016 with a range that spans nine trim levels ranging from $ 29,995 to $ 42,095. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has not released any awards for the Durango SRT 2018. It will begin arriving in dealerships during the fourth quarter of this year.
