Before the next Kona subcompact crossover arrives, Tucson is the smallest and least expensive offered by Hyundai, below the biggest Santa Fe Sport and Santa Fe. Compared to the sedans, the Tucson has a start-up price Higher than the compact Elantra and carries a slightly higher MSRP than the medium-sized Sonata. The low-volume Tucson fuel cell variant is available in California.
The Hyundai Tucson has been highly reorganized for 2016, and has since received some adjustments to its cabin and its technical characteristics. With all these updates always fresh, we expect this crossing to be done in the 2018 model year without major changes.
2018 Hyundai Tucson Design
The interior design will be enhanced to the dashboard where the touch display must be integrated and then held on the edge of the metal. It will also have vents for the movement of air. The cabin will be revised so that 2018 Hyundai Tucson may have a slightly larger loading area. The designers estimated that the passenger area was 101.9 and 25.7 cubic feet. Alternatively, the rear seats can be folded. This will increase the cargo volume from 101.9 to 145.8, so it can be a 5 passenger crossover. In the dashboard, HVAC commands can also be added.
The Hyundai Tucson 2018 will have several adjustments to its exterior. It will have an expanding line that is elongated up to the tail light. The tail will be stored more or like a sporty bumper look on the underside, the tailgate will be refitted and the rear lights thinner. The new colors included black ash, gray coliseum, ruby wine, Caribbean blue, chrome silver, winter white and Sedona sunset. The hexagonal grid will probably be offered at a contact pace, so it can represent a good appearance.

The current Tucson is a TOP IIHS safety choice, which comes just under the top honors due to its lack of “Good” rating in the new lighthouse test. It should be noted that to achieve the best rating, buyers must choose the Limited with Ultimate Package package, which includes an automatic emergency braking system. This package also adds a lane departure warning and pedestrian detection.
2018 Hyundai Tucson Engine
The engine options will probably be identical to the current model. The current vehicle comes with a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 164 horsepower and 151 pounds of torque. The optional 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharger, delivered in the Eco, Limited and Sport trimmings, boosts the front with 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Front wheel drive is standard but all drive wheels are available.
Ricing & Release Date
The 2018 Hyundai Tucson is expected to begin production in June. We plan to update a sales date in August. Without significant changes on the horizon, we do not expect any significant price changes. The 2018 model should be close to the current Tucson range of $ 23,595 to $ 32,070
