The 2018 Jaguar F-Type looks quite like its predecessor and for good reason the award-winning design of the two-seater sports car is already considered iconic. Thus, for the new model year, the British luxury vehicle manufacturer focused on the internal upgrade of the F-Type range which will further improve its performance.

From the outside, you can not notice much, and to be honest, there is not much in the way of new equipment. Each model now has its own unique front bumper to better differentiate them, and all F-Types now sport a set of LED trick headlights.
The interior features a small number of changes, as well. New thinner seats promise increased comfort and weight savings of around 16 pounds, as well as new chrome and aluminum accents. Jaguar also offers an extensive range of color and finish options for the interior. The most notable addition, however, is the new Touch Pro info-entertainment system, which can be seen on other Jaguar Land Rover vehicles and is now standard for all F-Type variants. The application combines vehicle data with a GoPro to provide an overlay of information for the recorded video. We are talking about key data on vehicle performance, such as speed, throttle position, gear selection, braking force and g force.
Finally, Jaguar has added a semi-automatic parking assist function designed to make parallel parking in the tighter spaces as quickly and easily as possible. By passing a potential space, the car’s ultrasonic parking sensors measure the length. If it is large enough, the system takes care of the steering: all that the driver has to do is press a button, reverse and control the accelerator and the brakes. The system will also guide the vehicle out of space when it’s time to leave.

And there are still many variations to choose from. The F-Type base comes with a 3.0-liter V6 good for 340 or 380 horsepower. Go for the F-Type R and it gains a V8 with 550 horsepower. The 200-mile-plus SVR type F remains available, with a 575-horsepower V8. V6 models can be taken with a manual, but an automatic is standard for all others.
There is also a new slot model between the F-Type S and the F-Type R. The F-Type 400 Sport is exclusive to model year 2018. The V6 bit is cranked up to 400 horsepower, Is covered with new insignia and a host of yellow and black trimmings.
