The Grand Cherokee is the flagship model of Jeep, currently the largest and most expensive model that Jeep offers in the automaker’s wide range of SUVs before a Wagoneer model arrives. The Jeep Grand Cherokee range includes a high performance SRT model, the luxurious Summit model and the 707 hp Trackhawk.
2018 Jeep Cherokee Change of Design
When Jeep returned the Cherokee model on the road, it made an exclusive Jeep style start with the specific muzzle shape that replaced the usual vertical Jeep design. This movement has certainly made this model unique among the other Jeeps and we expect 2018 Jeep Cherokee to bring new changes to the front fascia of the mode. In fact, most changes for the new model year should be on the front of the model. A new form of the seven-slot grille and headlights will refresh Cherokee’s face plus the reshaped front bumper.
The new version of this model should also feature refreshed taillights and a new rear bumper. However, the model will likely continue in the same proportions and general shape.
2018 Jeep Cherokee Inside
The interior of the next Cherokee should evolve with fresh materials and updated features. It is also possible that Jeep would offer an additional fit option with specific style keys, enhanced seats and upscale features.

On the other hand, all fittings will be well equipped and more standard features should be available. All models will have tilt and telescopic steering wheel, keyless entry, DRL LEDs and taillights, etc. The latest Uconnect infotainment system should be the standard feature of all versions, except for the basic Sport model. Buyers will be able to get the leather seats, front seats and heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, unique indoor and outdoor accents and more on the upper levels. The Trailhawk will come with outdoor off-road and off-road theme outdoor facilities. The new Cherokee will also be available with the latest active security systems. The model will include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Surveillance, Cross-Border Rear Warning, Front Collision Warning and Intervention, and more.
2018 Jeep Cherokee Engine
Under its hood, the new Cherokee should continue with its standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 184 horsepower and 171 pounds of torque. We also expect that its optional 3.2-liter V6 will be equipped with 271 hp and 239 lb.-ft. of torque to continue operation. Both engines will use a nine-speed automatic transmission. As the current model, the Cherokee 2018 should continue to be available with front-wheel drive or one of the two all-wheel-drive systems.
