2018 Range Rover Autobiography – The classic look of Range Rover combines the lines of the original with a decidedly aerodynamic influence, resulting in a modern take on the boxy theme, right. Two wheelbases are now available, a movement that echoes the first generation Range Rover towards the end of its racing model. Even the basic model is decadent and imposing, but autobiography adds subtly classy clues. The Dynamic SV Autobiography, however, is basically a sports car with a big body and it has the chops to back up those looks. For 2017, the SV Autobiography Dynamic builds on the Autobiography SV of last year but is built as a standard wheelbase rather than the extended model.
2018 Range Rover Autobiography Changes
The 2018 Range Rover Autobiography is located a little lower on its wheels than the standard car, as it suits a machine designed to be a little more skilled at speed on tough roads, and has had many changes made on its suspension set Up in an attempt to increase control of the body without sacrificing driving comfort.
The spring rates are comparable to those of the standard car, but the damping rates have been increased and the hydraulic anti-roll system of the car has been recalibrated. The steering rack is a unit of lowest ratio of the Range Rover Sport, which grants faster responses even if it is kept from feeling too strong courtesy of the larger Range Rover flying. A Brembo brake set-up promises power with the remaining power, while the wheels are unique 21 inches or 22 inches – nothing less.
2018 Range Rover Autobiography Engine
The new model, available for order now, begins life with the rest of the aluminum Range Rovers at Solihull, but deviates at the new SVO plant at Oxford Road, near Coventry, for painting and special fettling. It uses the same 542bhp 5.0 liter supercharged engine as the SVR Sport also with a powerful 502lb ft of torque on the tap although the delivery mode was slightly “civilized” with a different gas card. The maximum speed is 155mph and the 0-60mph time is a highly impressive 5.1sec.
The four options are associated with an 8-speed automatic transmission and, as expected, permanent four-wheel drive with a multi-mode traction control system accessible at the turn of a button. An optional Terrain Response 2 system, delivered with a host of convenience items in the Vision Assist package, includes an automatic mode for the traction control system which, as its name implies, requires the driver to make few decisions When a bumpy path is encountered.

Range Rovers offer remarkably good fuel economy, all in all. The fuel sipper of the range is the V-6 diesel engine, which checks in an impressive 22 mpg city, 29 highway, 25 combined. At the opposite end of the spectrum are the supercharged V-8s at 14/19/16 mpg.
2018 Range Rover Autobiography Price
The interesting question was, how hot would it be? The first SVO product, the Range Rover Sport SVR, was a rather extreme machine. Would the full-fat version overshadow it? Now the question has been answered, and the clue is in the name. The new 2018 Range Rover Autobiography of £ 132,800 does not offer the full SVR title of his slightly smaller brother and keeps the name of his luxurious scarf, SVAutobiography. From now on, there are two special models at the top of the Range Rover: the long SVAutobiography wheelbase and this new short wheelbase, more powerful 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.
