Introducing the Range Rover Evoque is an amazing move by this British manufacturer. Yes, it’s a bet, but the English know which card is in their hands. In 2012, when Evoque was born for the first time, many thought it would be a failure. Why? Well, the car has the style and luxury that comes with the Land Rover vehicle, but is very short of off-road capabilities. But, they proved the opposite. This crossover is attracting more customers than people expect. Even sell among people who are not used to buying vehicles of this brand. With the 2020 Range Rover Evoque, they hope to further increase the number of buyers.
The slim design of the Evoque currently hides the age of the car very well, with Rangie’s baby having resurfaced in 2012 on a less recent platform at the time. The designers are a bit of a mockery of the current car style and keep the typical shape of a coupe that helps define the segment. It will also add features like the Velar to enhance the high-end image of the car as evidenced by the most recently developed development car that carries an elegant rear lights and retractable door handles.
The underlying platform is the Land Rover LR-MS platform of the current Evoque, as well as Discovery Sport. Estimate that the platform will be updated for the new Evoque with a lighter material and alternative powertrain capabilities. In fact, we mean light hybrids and even a hybrid plug-in technology will be offered.
According to the online database, a total of six asses were recorded using this new transmission. A hybrid powertrain is meaningless, as Jaguar Land Rover plans to equip all of its models by 2020. Evoque is ready to launch a new 1.5-liter hybrid three-cylinder transmission. Unlike the gas hybrid, the diesel version will use a lightweight 48V hybrid system. The new transmission will use a 2.0-liter diesel engine combined with a 5 kW built-in electric crank motor with clutch circuit breaker. Hybrid engines will be sandwiched between engines and nine-speed transmissions.
The 2020 Range Rover Evoque is expected to debut next spring and we expect a future premium crossover to be an instant hit.
